Meet Dani: From Unstable to Unstoppable

Dani (name changed for privacy) came to C-U at Home with nowhere to go and no one to call. A survivor of domestic violence and years of housing instability, she was ready for a fresh start—but she didn’t know where to begin.

With the help of our team, Dani found more than a bed—she found support, encouragement, and resources. Through the Pathways to Progress program, she began setting small goals: securing an ID, attending counseling, and applying for jobs. Each milestone gave her new confidence.

Just a few months later, Dani is now working part-time, saving money, and preparing for her next phase. Her journey isn’t over—but it’s moving in the right direction. And it started with one brave step.
