Volunteering with C-U at Home means offering more than just time—it’s about offering presence, dignity, and consistency. Whether you serve once a month or every week, you’ll be part of a supportive team walking with clients as they pursue lasting change.

Serve with Purpose. Walk with Hope.

You may be wondering how your service fits into our Pathways to Progress. Volunteers walk alongside clients and staff in each stage, offering support that’s relational, respectful, and restorative.

Phases 1-3:
Mid-Barrier Housing

Volunteers may provide meals, encouragement, help with house spruce-up days, or participate in structured programs like Bible study or recovery support.

Phase 4:
Advanced Shelter

These clients live more independently. Volunteers may serve as mentors, help with employment prep, or lead wellness or life skills sessions.

Post- Program: Ongoing Support

As clients transition into community housing, volunteers may continue in prayer support, transportation help, or connection to church or community groups.

We offer a variety of ways to plug in—some hands-on, some behind the scenes, some one-time, some ongoing. No matter your season of life or skill set, there’s a role where you can make a real difference.
