Thank you for joining us in prayer!

Each Thursday is a special day of prayer for our ministry. Would you consider fasting in some way (from food, television, or the computer) and praying during that time for C-U at Home? The work that we do is founded on prayer! Below is a list of this week’s current prayers and praises.

Praises

Thank you God for this Christmas season and how blessed we are at C-U at Home to be able to provide housing and so many other vital services for our friends on the street!
Praise the Lord for one of our longtime friends without an address whose recent act of generosity with his money touched the hearts of so many!
Praise to Jesus for the multiple individuals, families, and businesses who have blessed our friends during the Christmas season! We cannot thank you enough!

She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.

Prayer

Would you join us in prayer for one of our friends without an address who is continues to work extremely hard to fight against his mental health struggles as well as not being able to have his own address?
Please pray for a friend who is not able to see her son this Christmas. Pray that God would send down an extra dose of comfort for her during this season when so many families are able to be together.
Would you also pray for all those seeking spiritual growth? We ask that during this most sacred time of year, God would make His love and grace known to us in a very real way!

Thank you for joining us in prayer!

Praises

Thank you God for our incredible volunteers who continue to help us out in multiple ministry areas including transportation, the Phoenix Daytime Drop-in Center, and in our transitional houses!
Praise the Lord for one of our longtime female friends without an address who is now housed!
Praise to Jesus for another one of our friends who was able to get his ankle bracelet removed and now has more freedom!

In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

Prayer

Would you join us in prayer for both the men and women’s shelter (Austin’s Place) who continue to see higher numbers than we have seen in recent years? Pray that the services would continue to be utilized and that our friends would continue to be cared for.
Please pray for a friend who is dealing with bed bugs and that his place would be able to be cleaned and cleared of all those pests!
Would you also pray for a friend who is working through a recent relapse? Pray that God would move in his life to help him get back on track.
