Each Thursday is a special day of prayer for our ministry. Would you consider fasting in some way (from food, television, or the computer) and praying during that time for C-U at Home? The work that we do is founded on prayer! Below is a list of this week’s current prayers and praises.

Praises

Thank you God for a friend without an address who recently attended a spiritual retreat and continues to work hard on his sobriety and faith journey!
Praise the Lord for the launch of our One Winter Night 2020 season! We ask for God to continue to bless our ministry in a great and mighty way as we follow His direction in all we do! Please mark your calendars for February 7th, 2020!!!
Praise to Jesus for the emergency shelter staff and our drop-in center staff continuing to have wonderful coordination and communication! Team work makes the dream work!

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Prayer

Would you join us in prayer for a friend whose mother has to have surgery soon? Pray that God would guide the doctors hands and that recovery would be quick and painless.
Please pray for one of our friends who just found out about the death of one of his very close family members. We ask for God’s presence and comfort to flow in this horrible situation.
Would you also pray for a friend who will be starting a new job soon? We look forward to God’s blessings being poured down on this man!
