C-U at Home Prayer – #398 9.4.19

Thank you for joining us in prayer!

Each Thursday is a special day of prayer for our ministry. Would you consider fasting in some way (from food, television, or the computer) and praying during that time for C-U at Home? The work that we do is founded on prayer! Below is a list of this week’s current prayers and praises.

Praises

Thank you God for our continued partnership with the City of Champaign Township on the C-U at Work program! What a blessing it was to see this program celebrate it’s one-year anniversary on August 22nd!
Praise the Lord for the chance to house and transport our friends without an address especially as the weather begins to turn chilly!
Praise to Jesus for recent community support including Blossom Basket’s “Good Neighbor Day,” an FE Moran silent auction, and an area high school girls swim meet all put on to raise funds for C-U at Home!!! What amazing blessings!

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.

Prayer

Would you join us in prayer for a friend who has endured multiple trials in the past week? Pray that God would provide strength and healing during this time of confusion.
Please pray for a friend who continues to self-sabotage opportunities for housing. Pray that God would help break down the walls of distrust and open the door to new life!
Would you also pray for a friend who will be entering our Men’s Recovery House in two weeks? Pray that he would use this opportunity to grow and thrive in his sobriety and self-sufficiency!
