Praises

Thank you God for The Dwelling Place, a new daytime drop-in center for our friends without an address that is getting up on it’s feet in Danville!!
Praise the Lord for area churches that have been scheduling time during their Sunday services for us to talk about One Winter Night!
Praise the Lord for the hard work of our residents – for their consistency in working, saving half their income, and meeting with their case managers and spiritual advisers. We are so thankful for each of them and their steps forward!

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

Prayer

Would you join us in prayer for a friend who has liver cancer? Pray for healing and that the doctors would have wisdom on the best course of treatment.
Please pray for a friend without an address who has relapsed. Pray that God would give him strength as he tries to begin again and that the Lord would fill the emptiness so many feel when they work towards sober living.
Would you also pray for our friends without addresses as the weather gets colder? Pray that they would be moved to make a change in their lives before winter hits.
